Cedarwood essential oil is steam-distilled from the wood chips or sawdust of the cedar tree. It has a grounding, soothing, woodsy aroma. Cedarwood essential oil has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antifungal, tonic, astringent, diuretic, sedative and insecticidal properties, making it an excellent essential oil to have in skincare, particularly for oily skin, acne, dandruff, eczema and psoriasis. It is also a great strengthening tonic for the sinuses and lungs when used in an inhalation.

+ Steam inhalation: Put a few drops of essential oil in a bowl of hot water, then put a towel over your head and breathe in the steam.
